This is a poem from my book which I wrote when I was 11;
Taking gun in their hands,
To save our ‘birth land’.
Fighting without fear,
Leaving their family and dear.
Working all the time, day and night,
For protecting us they fight.
Even on time when we celebrate festivals,
They are present on the border fighting with their rivals.
They first put ‘motherland’ in their life,
After ‘motherland’ they care their children and wife.
For our country they are like an armor,
As their hard work, their life and everything they martyr.
We salute those soldiers,
Who take risk for their motherland on the border.
We couldn’t forget these soldier’s sacrifice,
Because they have a major place in our life.
- What are you working on at the moment?
