Editing Policy

I edit articles, manuscripts and poems as a freelancer, and work with The Scientific Teen as an official editor. 

Feel free to send a query letter in the following format:

Subject: Editing-(Category): (Your Name)

In the body of the email, please mention your details and link to at least one social profile. Mention how soon you wish to receive the edited version along with details about the work.

Due to large number of emails I receive, and other work  I do, I may not be able to get back right away. Expect to hear back within a week at the most.

Categories:

Manuscripts: Preferably between 10,000-30,000 words. ($0.75 per word)

Article: At least 50 words. ($1 per word)

Poems: At least 10 lines. ($1 per word)

If your work doesn't fit in these categories, email me with proper details.

Before accepting your work for editing, I'll let you know by when I'll send you the revised version. I'll be available to any other questions from you.

P.S.: I get emails from writers saying they can't pay for the charges, and if I'd be willing to do it for free.

Unfortunately, I can't do that since I'm a student, and currently engaged in a lot of other work, which requires funding generated through my freelance work.

So if you're someone who had these thoughts in mind, I'm sorry I can't be of help to you.
